"Sierra," a Spanish word literally meaning "saw," refers to a mountain range. It also represents the letter S in the NATO phonetic alphabet. The significance of "Sierra" for the company is threefold: first, the saw is a tool we frequently use; second, mountains are integral to our work environment; and third, we often employ the NATO alphabet in our field communications.
